Kansas State Research and Extension and 4-H Youth Development are pleased to offer 4-H Cloverbuds, an educational program designed specifically for youth ages 5 and 6. Children of this age have distinctive learning characteristics and developmental needs that are different from older youth who participate in 4-H. That is why the 4-H Cloverbuds program is designed with specific educational objectives and policies focused to benefit 5- and 6-year-old children. The goal of this guide is to provide 4-H Cloverbuds volunteers (extension agents, adults, and teens) information about the 4-H Cloverbuds program in an easily accessible format for implementing a successful program for 5- and 6-year-olds. Thank you for serving as a 4-H Cloverbuds volunteer. Kansas 4-H Youth Development commends your impact on shaping the lives of these 4-H Cloverbuds participants.
