Butler County

COVID-19 Update - April 2nd, 2020

19

Office Protocol

At this time, our office doors are locked at the guidance of the Butler County Commissioners.

We apologize for the inconvenience; however, we feel it is our responsibility, as a research-based organization, to take this situation seriously. Social distancing steps have been proven effective in slowing a disease outbreak during pandemics. This means we reduce the number of times and places that people gather in large numbers or spend time together. By slowing the spread of disease, medical facilities are better able to handle the demand, which saves lives in the long run.

This is a fluid situation, and we appreciate your patience. We will continue to seek the latest updates and follow the advisement of the Butler County Health Department and K-State Research and Extension.

If you have any questions, please call our office at (316) 321-9660 or email the agents at:

Barbara Roths, Family Consumer Science Agent – broths@ksu.edu

Larry Crouse, Horticulture agent – lcrouse@ksu.edu
